感謝您使用 Modbus RTU 智慧分析軟體 (Modbus RTU Analyzer)（以下簡稱「本軟體」或「本服務」）。本服務由 uWebHMI 團隊所開發與維運。

我們深知工業通訊數據與現場控制指令的高度機密性與安全性要求。因此，本軟體在設計之初即採取「零資料收集 (Zero-Telemetry)」與「純本地端運作 (100% Client-Side)」架構。無論您是透過瀏覽器連線、安裝為 PWA 獨立應用程式，或是使用 Chrome 線上應用程式商店之擴充功能版本，本軟體均全面落實此隱私承諾。

2 Web Serial API 與實體 COM Port 通訊權限說明

為達成即時監聽與解析 Modbus RTU 封包之功能，本軟體使用現代瀏覽器標準的 Web Serial API 直接存取使用者主動選取的本機串列埠（COM Port / USB-to-RS485 轉換器）。

🔒 本地存取安全性保證：

主動授權機制：瀏覽器僅會在使用者明確點擊「開啟 COM Port」時彈出原生選單，本軟體無法在未經您明確同意下自主掃描或連接任何硬體。
封包不落地、不上傳：由 COM Port 接收到的所有 Hex 原始封包、解碼後的暫存器數值、線圈狀態及診斷統計數據，完全僅存放於您當前瀏覽器分頁的記憶體 (RAM) 中進行即時運算，絕不會傳送至任何遠端伺服器或第三方雲端服務。

3 個人資料收集與追蹤宣告

本軟體遵守最嚴格的隱私與資料最小化原則：

不收集個人識別資訊 (No PII)：本軟體不要求註冊、不要求登入、不收集姓名、電子郵件、電話或任何身份資料。
無第三方分析工具與追蹤程式碼：本軟體不嵌入 Google Analytics、Facebook Pixel、Mixpanel 或任何廣告/數據追蹤 SDK。
無遠端伺服器紀錄：所有封包分割、CRC 檢查、浮點數轉換與錯誤診斷演算均於您的電腦本機 CPU 執行。

4 本地儲存空間 (Local Storage) 之使用

本軟體僅使用瀏覽器的 localStorage 儲存以下兩項無關個人隱私的使用者介面偏好設定：

ModbusTheme：記錄您所選擇的深色 (Dark) 或淺色 (Light) 主題介面。
ModbusLang：記錄您所選擇的介面語系（繁體中文 zh-TW 或英文 en）。

這些資料僅保存在您的本機裝置上，您可以隨時透過清除瀏覽器快取將其移除。

5 Chrome 擴充功能與 PWA 安裝版特別聲明

針對由 Chrome 線上應用程式商店安裝之擴充功能與 PWA 模式：

單一用途宣告 (Single Purpose)：擴充功能僅提供 Modbus RTU 串列協定解析與除錯工作台，無任何附加隱藏功能。
PWA 安裝網址：本服務亦支援 PWA 漸進式網頁應用程式模式，使用者可直接至 https://rtuanalyze.uwebhmi.com/pwa 點擊瀏覽器網址列之安裝圖示，享有完整的離線執行與桌面原生應用體驗。

1 Introduction & Core Commitment

Thank you for using Modbus RTU Smart Analyzer (Modbus RTU Analyzer) (hereinafter referred to as "the Software" or "the Service"), developed and maintained by the uWebHMI team.

We recognize the paramount importance of data confidentiality and operational safety in industrial environments. Therefore, this Software is built upon a strict "Zero-Telemetry" and "100% Client-Side Execution" architecture. Whether you access the tool online, install it as a standalone Progressive Web App (PWA), or run it via the Chrome Web Store extension, your privacy is unconditionally protected.

2 Web Serial API & Hardware COM Port Access

To enable real-time packet capture, auto-framing, and Modbus RTU protocol diagnostics, this Software utilizes the modern browser-standard Web Serial API to communicate directly with user-authorized physical serial ports (COM Port / USB-to-RS485 converters).

🔒 Local Access & Security Guarantees:

Explicit User Authorization: Serial ports are only accessed when you explicitly click "Open COM Port" and select a port in the browser's native permission modal. The Software cannot autonomously scan or open any port without your interaction.
Local Memory Only (No Server Uploads): All incoming raw Hex bytes, decoded register values, coil statuses, and diagnostic statistics reside strictly in your browser's temporary volatile memory (RAM). Zero industrial packets or communication records are ever transmitted to any remote server, cloud API, or third-party endpoint.

3 Data Collection & Tracking Disclosures

We adhere to strict data minimization principles:

No Personally Identifiable Information (No PII): The Software requires no account registration, login, email address, or identity verification.
Zero Analytics & Third-Party Trackers: We do not integrate Google Analytics, tracking cookies, advertising SDKs, or session replay scripts.
Client-Side Processing: All cyclic redundancy checks (CRC-16), byte stream slicing, data-type conversions (INT16, UINT16, UINT32, FLOAT32), and diagnostic evaluations run locally on your device CPU.

4 Use of Browser Local Storage

The Software uses the browser's localStorage exclusively to save non-sensitive user interface preferences:

ModbusTheme: Remembers your UI theme preference (light or dark).
ModbusLang: Remembers your preferred interface language (zh-TW or en).

This information remains entirely on your local machine and can be cleared at any time by clearing your browser cache.

5 Chrome Extension & PWA Installation Declarations

For users running the Chrome Web Store extension or PWA version:

Single Purpose Policy: The extension is dedicated solely to Modbus RTU protocol debugging and serial stream analysis. It contains no secondary or undisclosed functionalities.
PWA Installation Option: This application is also available as a standalone Progressive Web App. Visit https://rtuanalyze.uwebhmi.com/pwa and click the browser's install button to enjoy a full offline desktop experience.
